Re: Introducing Joanna Patrick

Joanna is based in SA and has a wealth of expertise, creativity and encouragement to offer when it comes to music teaching in the classroom. I'm looking forward to teachers in SA as well as from all over Australia exchanging ideas, questions and answers with Joanna.

Joanna is the writer of the comprehensive and wonderful digital resource kit for the group "The Rhythm Works".

No Video In Digital resources

Your Musica Viva In Schools digital resources start up with a snappy drum roll and some music while they load. Everything looks great. The documents can be read in teacher preview. The audio tracks play. But ...... No videos will play!

This is usually caused by one of the following:
1. Your computer hasn't got the latest QuickTime installed. Install QuickTime and all should play.
2. The resource has been installed on the network server. Musica Viva In Schools digital resources are both multi-media and interactive. Using the software activates large-sized files that congest the server and therefore will not play correctly.
Remove the resources from the server and copy them to a Flash drive or to the local (hard drive, or C Drive) of your computer.

Video won't play

Interactive digital resources display documents and play audio, but video doesn't play.
SOLUTION: Install latest version of QuickTime. The MVPlayer requires QuickTime on your machine in order to play video content.
